Dear Sir,

I have an existing pump for pumping molten lead. however am facing the problem of leakage from space between shaft and housing. can u suggest a mechanical seal to help prevent this leakage. the temperature is around 600 C.

thanking you

Dear Peter.

We are trying to design the mixer, disperser and homognisers, we had done elementary studies for the tip speed of the rotor for which we had designed our own gearbox which is giving us 8000 RPM please need your assitance to have the saft sealing, we are expecting around 40 deg cen rise in temperature. Please suggest us the suitble Dry mechanical seal if available with you.

I want to seal between a shaft and housing. I internal pressure is 2psig and will hold N2 and potentially corrosive gases. The shaft will be raised and lowered at times with a 1/2" or 2" stroke. The shaft outside diameter is currently 0.5" and the housing od is 1". This could be altered to match stock bellows seals.

Thanks,
